				وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ

				وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ

				قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الأخْدُودِ
	5911 3168 463 411 4237 85:4			Woe to the dwellers of the valley.
				النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ
	5912 3169 464 412 1590 85:5			The fire was ignited by the fuel.
				إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ
	5913 3170 465 413 4238 85:6			When they all sat around it,-
				وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
	5914 3171 466 414 1591 85:7			-and they all witnessed what they were doing to the faithful.
				وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
	5915 3172 467 415 1805(2682), 18(26) 4239 85:8			And they only unleashed their vengeance upon them because they had faith in God, The Almighty, The Praiseworthy.
				الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَتِ وَالأرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
	5916 3173 468 416 1806(2683), 19(27) 4240 85:9			The One to whom belongs the kingship of the vacua and matter. And God witnesses all things.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ
	5917 3174 469 417 4241 85:10			Indeed those who persecute the faithful men and the faithful women then do not repent; reserved for them is the suffering of Gehenna and the suffering of the blazing inferno.
				إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّلِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَرُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ
	5918 3175 470 418 1592 85:11			Surely, the faithful who lead a righteous life, reserved for them are Paradises with flowing streams beneath them. This is the greatest triumph.
				إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
	5919 3176 471 419 4242 85:12			Indeed your Lord's strike is severe.
				إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
	5920 3177 472 420 1593 85:13			Indeed, He initiates and repeats.
				وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ
	5921 3178 473 421 4243 85:14			And He is The All Forgiving, The All Loving.
				ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ
	5922 3179 474 422 4244 85:15			Possessor of the glorious throne.
				فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ
	5923 3180 475 423 4245 85:16			The perfect doer of all that He wills.
				هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ
	5924 3181 476 424 1594 85:17			Have you received the story of the armies-
				فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
	5925 3182 477 425 4246  85:18			-of Pharaoh and Thamoud?
				بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ
	5926 3183 478 426 1595 85:19			However, the unfaithful are in complete denial.
				وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ
	5927 3184 479 427 1807(2684), 20(28) 4247 85:20			And God has completely surrounded them without their knowledge.
				بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ
	5928 3185 480 428 4248 85:21			Yet, this is a Glorious Quran.
				فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ
